About The Event

Art on the 10-Mile Trail

Something extraordinary is underway at Tewksbury Land Trust's Sullivan-Whitman Preserve. Thanks to Whittemore Board President Carolyn Thow, world-renowned sculptors; David Horowitz & Jeff Mase have crafted a design from ancient weathered trees along the Ten Mile Trail.

The project is inspired by how the sculpture garden at Whittemore Community, Culture & Conservation helps stimulate awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the environment. With this objective in mind, The Land Trust is collaborating with WhittemoreCCC to explore how its preserves can serve more of the community by installing art as a destination for hikers and riders.

.

Unveiling Monday, October 9th at 3:30pm at the Sullivan-Whitman Preserve

Reception to follow in the Gardens of Whittemore at WhittemoreCCC
