2020 was a complicated year - as we enter 2021 - we would like to start off by saying HAPPY ANNIVERSARY - we are celebrating our 5th year as Whittemore - Community, Culture and Conservation! Though the world is not as we expected - we hope our small slice of the outdoors has provided solace, a place to enjoy and take pleasure in, on our trails, in our fields, by our stream and in our gardens. As we begin to plan for 2021, we will continue to bring you the outdoor activities you have all so enjoyed this last year; Wellness & Nature programs, Garden Concerts and Community Garden plots. We will be adding Foraging Walks and Lectures, Garden Lectures and 2 Outdoor Foraged Dinners, all while being socially distant and following CDC protocol.
Though this is not how we planned to celebrate our 5 Year Anniversary - we are going to make the best of it! We will be adding a new Sculpture to our Sculpture Garden, Unveiling a new Mindfulness Project available for all to enjoy at WhittemoreCCC and we hope by September to be able to have a socially distant Garden Concert & Art Show Retrospective
WhittemoreCCC - "The Last 5 years - The Next 5 Years".
Please check back regularly as we unveil our 2021 Programming.
Unfortunately due to the current pandemic Whittemore House is closed and we will not be able to hold our yearly art shows & receptions. With that being said - we are still making plans in the hopes that by the Fall we might be able to have a socially distant event showcasing WhittemoreCCC's 5 years supporting our local artists.
World-Renowned Sculptor, Designer and Furniture-Maker David Horowitz continues as Director of WhittemoreCCC's Sculpture Garden. He has many plans for 2021, including another installation - TBA, as well as several collaborative efforts for our Wellness Program and Whittemore Property. David is excited to be part of our 5 Year Anniversary and looks forward to unveiling his plans for the next 5 years!
As we continue our partnership with
The Hunterdon Art Tour, 2021 is confirmed. We will be announcing our plans in March.

which during the Spring, Summer & Fall season, is used as the backdrop for our Plein-Air Painters, Wellness Classes and Concerts.
We are excited to announce Dawn will be spearheading a new project by the Sculpture "Nobody Knows" - a Woodland Garden & Pathway. Last years efforts in removing invasive helped bring out native plants for this new garden to showcase.
We are saddened we are not able to have Children's Garden Quilt Day but a local Boy Scout Troop has offered to manage the plots themselves, to earn their Gardening Merit Badge. The vegetables grown will be donated to the Clinton Open Cupboard Food Pantry.
Whittemore is a volunteer based organization, so if you would like to join these ladies be sure to check-out our Volunteer page for the many projects they are in need of extra hands. For those students looking for Community Hours -please contact us at .

Concerts in the Garden
With the pandemic limiting our activities - we at WhittemoreCCC offer you a safe environment to enjoy our outdoor concerts. With last years success with our 9 concerts - we have decided in 2021 to offer 3 series, Spring, Summer & Fall - 6 concerts each, starting in March.
With each musical event you will watch as the Gardens unveil themselves and begin to bloom and frame the stage of our concerts. Classical, Jazz, Irish, Bluegrass and many more inspired tunes will fill the fragrant air as you picnic and enjoy this exceptional opportunity to be outdoors and listen to some great music.
