“Creating Your Own Plants” Free Workshop - Hands on Plant Propagation Class at Whittemore
Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own plants from cuttings? Wondered which flowers you can divide and when? How to start seeds? It’s easier than you might expect!
Join us for this hands-on class with our Rutgers Master Gardener, Linda Klug, at Whittemore Gardens on Sunday, April 29th at 12:00 p.m. Learn about starting your own seedlings, cloning cuttings, and utilizing the plantlets found within bulbs. Planting, pinching, transplanting, and hardening off are also discussed. Students should bring a few small plastic pots to bring their new plants home. Soil and cuttings (and plastic pots if needed) are provided.
Workshop space is limited, so please register today and feel free to bring a friend. Walk-ins welcome. Please email Kelli at kelli.pereira1@gmail.com with questions about this course and upcoming lectures. For more information about WhittemoreCCC, please visit www.whittemoreccc.org.
