The bee program is led by our dedicated beekeepers, Mark Johnson and Ben Tolpa, who care for and maintain the hives while contributing to educational programming and seasonal activities. There are three hives available for sponsorship, each offering a unique naming opportunity. In addition to naming a hive, sponsors are recognized in connection with that hive’s seasonal honey harvest—creating a meaningful and ongoing connection to the land and its natural cycles. Whittemore benches offer visitors a place to sit, rest, and take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Thoughtfully placed within key areas of the property, these benches provide moments of pause and reflection for guests enjoying the grounds. There are two benches available for sponsorship, each accompanied by a personalized engraved plaque recognizing the donor. One bench will be located in Bluebird Field, a peaceful open space known for its natural beauty and wildlife. The other will be placed in the Pumpkin Field, a central gathering place for seasonal events and community celebrations.
