Conifers - NEW
NOVEMBER 9, Sunday, 1p.m. - 2 p.m. (This class could run slightly longer due to Q & A period.)
In perfect time for your Christmas or holiday tree hunt, our Christmas tree farmer and expert will focus primarily on Pines, Spruces and Firs. The speaker will show students how to identify specific conifers, such as by their foliage and cones. Specimens from the farm are exhibited. If time allows, students will go on a short hike to identify conifers in the forests of Whittemore.
