About The Event

Making Your Own Plants: Plant Propagation Hands-On Workshop (Free)

APRIL 7, Sunday, Noon - 1 p.m. (This class may run slightly longer due to Q & A period.)

Back by popular demand! Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own plants from cuttings?

Wondered which flowers you can divide and when? It’s easier than you might expect!

At this Whittemore hands-on class, you will learn about cloning cuttings, seeds, and utilizing the plantlets found within bulbs. You’ll use a variety of plants – herbs, flowers, succulents, and bulbs. Planting, pinching, transplanting, and hardening off are also taught.

Join us for fun workshop with Rutgers Master Gardener, Linda Klug.

Students should bring a few small plastic pots to bring their new plants home. Soil and cuttings are provided.
