With the smart phone camera, we can all expand our personal awareness by learning how to think about certain attributes, while shooting a picture. Simply by gaining control over some the functions of the phone camera, and learning what constitutes more artful images, we can increase our skill-level and respond to the world with more visual aptitude - and flair. We can evolve from “taking a shot” to “making an image”. Informed by a small array of essential elements of art, we can become more deliberate in our photographic choices.
