Keeping Healthy in 2022 And The Power of Plants:

June 18, 2022 Lecture Four: Stress has a huge influence on our health. Life is stressful but there are many tools we can use to support ourselves before reaching for a medication. Proper sleep is essential to our health. We need approximately 7-9 hours each night to restore our body so we can function properly. Let’s take a closer look at stress and sleep and ways to support ourselves. We will also cover herbs that can help and functional testing that is available when needed.

Leslie will be available for a Q&A and then we invite you to join us for a FREE Yoga session with our Yogi Carl Klemme at 11am.

May 7, 2022 Lecture One: Spring is a great time to cleanse ourselves from the heavy foods we consumed over the long winter months. A cleanse also helps to support the elimination of toxins we are constantly exposed to in the environment. It helps to increase energy, vitality and promotes our well being. Let’s take a look at how to cleanse properly and role of the liver, gallbladder and lymph in our digestive system.

May 11, 2022 Lecture Two: Health begins with a well functioning digestive system. Let’s take a look at our microbiome which is home to approximately 70-80% of our immune system, and the microbes which perform so many crucial functions. What happens when things get out of balance? We’ll discuss eating with the seasons, herbs that support our gut health and functional testing that is available when needed.

June 21, 2022 Lecture Three: Approximately 200,000 Americans under the age of 65 have early-onset Alzheimers. It’s never too soon to start supporting your brain health. The vagus nerve controls our gut-brain connection. Who’s in charge our gut or our brain? We’ll look at herbs that support  brain health and functional testing that is available when needed.
