Health talk: Living a Cancer Preventative Way of Life

Join us to connect with fellow members of our community over coffee & tea, learn some insights on specific health topics from our nutritionist, and listen to guest speakers while they educate us on their field of practice. In addition to the Wellness Salon which will meet monthly on Saturday mornings, we will be offering special programs on a variety of healing methods. Our mission is to expand awareness to our community on health and healing modalities that are available to support our body, mind and spirit. March's Guest Speaker: April Morecraft of Riverside Wellness and Enchantments

Talk: Reiki Energy Healing

April Morecraft is certified with a masters degree in the Usui System of Reiki. She is also an herbalist and creator of a home based, small batch herb business called Oak Root Herbals. April began her herbal studies with a farm-based foundations course with Linda Shanahan of Bluestem Botanicals followed by a 3-year apprenticeship with herbalist, author and green witch, Robin Rose Bennet of Wise Woman Ways. She is currently studying herbal astrology with Sajah Poham of The School of Evolutionary Herbalism as well as Foundations in Anatomy and Physiology for Herbalists with Tammi Sweet at Heartstone Center for Earth Essentials.

As an herbalist and plant intuitive, Reiki sessions with April may include guidance on how to work with plant magic in order to release stagnant energy and balance and restore the chakras. April also teaches classes on working with plant medicine and magic for physical and spiritual vitality.  She is looking forward to the opportunity to share universal life energy and plant magic with you.
