About The Event
Our bodies have become accustomed to living in boxes, shopping in boxes, exercising in boxes, walking on flat surfaces and staring at small, flat boxes. Let's get ourselves moving the way humans are made to move! Have fun in nature as Kristina Cagno guides you through a moving adventure.
All sessions include movement on lawn (bring a towel or mat) followed by a walk on the trails.
Part 1: Happy Feet and Hips, Saturday, May 2
From feet to hips, we want a good foundation and alignment. We will start barefoot (optional) in the grass to ground ourselves. Then walk (with shoes) on trail learning how to capture all nature has to offer our bodies.
Part 2: Connecting Core with Supple Shoulders, Saturday, May 9
We will start with some easy warm-up exercises for the neck, shoulders and upper back then venture onto the trails. Align your spine to reduce stress on low back. Find out how trees can help you loosen up your shoulders.
