Nature Camp - Session 2 - COLLECTING TO LEARN

Session 2    July 5-8th

Learning to Collect

This week is all about collecting different types of nature that inhabit Whittemore's wildlife. Explore different natural collections each day; insects, rocks, leaves, flowers & photos. Campers will get to have fun discovering our natural world through games, catch & release,  observation and creating their very own collections.

Important Information:

- Campers should be dressed to play outdoors, with good hiking sneakers or shoes and a hat. 

- We play in the Rain; so please make sure they have rain jackets and boots for those rainy days. If we cannot go outdoors, the kids will have fun in our indoor facilites and children's classroom.

- Please be sure to pack everyday a NUT-FREE Snack and mini lunch, and a refillable water bottle (we're a green facility).

- Please make sure all their items are labeled with their name - each child will have a cubby for the week to place their belongings.

- Bug Spray & Sunscreen should be applied at home (we will have some just in case). 

- Tick Checks should be done at home at the end of each day!

- Our Registration form includes an emergency contact and allergy information, please let us know of an changes!
