Nature Camp - Session 3 - Mini Camp

Session 3    July 1-3rd

Mini Camp

This is a short week but we are going to pack in the activities, a little bit of everything: frog catching, nature walks, arts & crafts, stream fossil exploration, bird watching, nature scavenger hunt, field games, ducks & drakes, forest shelters & forts, and of course sprinkle time!

DAILY CAMP SCHEDULE

• 8:55-9:10 - ARRIVAL
• 9:00-9:15 - Morning Circle
• 9:15-10:30 - Nature Walk
• 10:30 - 11:00 - Craft Time
• 11:00-11:15 - SNACK Time
• 11:15-12:00 - Project Nature
• 12:00-12:50 - Frog Catching & Sprinkler Time & Snack
• 12:50-1:00pm Prepare for Early Dismissal
• 1:00-3:00 - Extended Day; filled with activities & lunch

Important Information:

- Campers should be dressed to play outdoors, with good hiking sneakers or shoes and a hat.

- Please pack a bathing suit & towel

- We play in the Rain; so please make sure they have rain jackets and boots for those rainy days. If we cannot go outdoors, the kids will have fun in our indoor facilites and children's classroom.

- Please be sure to pack everyday a NUT-FREE Snack and mini lunch, and a refillable water bottle (we're a green facility).

- Please make sure all their items are labeled with their name - each child will have a cubby for the week to place their belongings.

- Bug Spray & Sunscreen should be applied at home (we will have some just in case).

- Tick Checks should be done at home at the end of each day!

- Our Registration form includes an emergency contact and allergy information, please let us know of an changes!

- All Campers will receive a Whittemore 100% Cotton Camp t-shirt at the start of Camp.
