About The Event
Whether you are an organic gardening newbie or an experienced gardener, our Organic Gardening Course will provide you with time-tested methods for success. Learn how to improve your soil and to plan, prepare, and plant your garden. You will also discover how to manage some weeds, critters and diseases that show up in common crops.
Al Johnson of NOFA-NJ (Northeastern Organic Farming Association of New Jersey), will be instructing the course. He is an award-winning organic farmer and gardener with over 40 years of experience.
Weather and time permitting, Al may take us out to Whittemore’s Community Garden for some hands-on instruction.
