The Study of Meditation

This 7 week study of meditation will give you a foundation for an effective and sustainable ongoing meditation practice. We will learn how to sit still comfortably for extended periods of time, which is an essential for any mindfulness and or meditation practice. Over the course of our study we will learn breathing techniques for calming and focusing the mind. There will be a new meditation technique introduced each session with time for to have a deep experience utilizing it. Throughout the series we will practice one simple method each class that will be the bedrock practice for all the additional methods you will learn. This easy practice can become the basis for a life long relationship with meditation that is sure to enrich your experience of the world within and around you.
