Sound Meditation with Carl Klemme

Join us in the Gardens of Whittemore as we continue with our unique wellness offerings.

"Singing bowls have been around for thousands of years, and they are a common fixture in sound healing practices. From Himalayan singing bowls to crystal singing bowls, these instruments create enchanting sounds that can accompany a variety of rituals and practices."

This 60 minute Sound Meditation experience will deeply relax participants into waves of healing sounds and tones played on Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and bells. Laying down under the sky in a restorative yoga posture using bolsters and eye pillows attendees will be guided into gentle breathing practices and body awareness techniques as they enter the practice. There will be a closing centering practice of breath and awareness following the Sound Meditation Session. Participants most often find the experience deeply calming and clarifying. It is suggested to wear loose-fitting clothing, as being comfortable is key. Blankets will be provided for warmth if needed.

If the weather does not permit us to enjoy the Gradens of Whittemore - the class will be moved indoors to Whittemore House.

WCCC Guidelines:

- ALL events REQUIRE registration

- Class if indoors will allow for 7 spots, when outdoors - unlimited.

- Please bring your own handwipes, waterbottle and yoga mat.
