About The Event
I am intrigued by the notion that when we see something that pleases us, it feels good. We respond to visual input viscerally; our pulse slows or speeds up, our eyes blink, hearts are felt, smiles dawn unconsciously. There are soulful connections to nature that we can experience when we allow the time to take them in; the land, the plant and animal populations, the patterns, the atmosphere, the changes.
Join me, Sandy Ross, for a two day workshop, Part I - where we will explore the human to nature connection as we scout for landscapes to photograph on the beautiful Whittemore grounds. Through reflection on the personal process of taking pictures, it becomes more possible to clarify what matters to you - as you capture and share what you witness.
In our Saturday Workshop Part II, we will have the additional focus of making photographs, review what was learned in Part I and tae the time to critique and review the photographs taken.
