Join Friends of Whittemore for our Spring Almost Summer Extravaganza under the stars!

Watch as the Dinner unfolds right there in the Gardens, prepared on an open fire and enjoy the exclusive opportunity to eat, drink and be merry in the in the Gardens of Whittemore.

The Extravaganza is our continued collaboration of not only food, but art, music and garden design.

This year's event will include a 5-course locally sourced Spring Menu with a Japanese influence, 5 artists, South Korean musician Lish Lindsay playing the Dragon Flute and Thomas Piercy, hichiriki/clarinet - performing medieval Japanese court music, Japanese tablescapes, a reception in the Gardens of Whittemore, hosted by Highlands Dinner Club, our Food Makes Friends team and our newest partner ITO-EN, a multigenerational green tea company who's philosophy aligns with our food, wellness & nature and preservation initiatives.

Led by chefs Dan Lipow and Ben Walmer, The Foraged Feast & Highlands Dinner Club have joined forces again to create a seasonal late spring menu.  

Local produce and unique delicacies likely to appear in the five course menu are as follows:

Wild spring greens, e.g. watercress

Friends of Whittemore is a non-profit community organization established to raise funds to provide Cultural and Educational Programming in Tewksbury. The funds raised through donations, grants and special events are used directly to support Whittemore - Community, Culture & Conservation.

Raindate: Thursday, June 15th, please note the RAIN DATE - it is very important that you can attend this date as well should we have to re-schedule. There are NO refunds, this is a fundraiser.
