About The Event
Monday- Friday 10:00am-3:00pm
Students will focus on creating artwork for a portfolio that reflect the skills and quality that art schools are looking for in their prospective students. In building the portfolio, students explore a variety of concepts, techniques, and approaches to art making, designed to help them demonstrate their abilities as well as their versatility with techniques, problem solving, and ideation.
Throughout this session, students will work on observational drawing and painting, exploring a range of style, media and subject matter. Strong pieces of work reflecting careful observation, technique and skill will be completed from direct observation. Students will also work with conceptual ideas and design to expand their repertoire of contemporary subjects, styles and technique.
