Welcome to Whittemore!

 

From art shows, garden concerts, guided walks, community gardens to wellness & nature classes,  

education and food makes friends, there’s something for everyone at Whittemore!  Lots of exciting things are happening here, so please click through our website to explore!

 

The Whittemore trails are open daily to the public from dawn to dusk.  Please respect nature and take all trash and dog waste back out with you.

There may be no WiFi in our woods, but Whittemore promises a better connection.

Elie started her outdoor residency in 2022 with the unveiling

of SPRING, followed by WATER.

In 2023 we saw WALKING WITH.

These ephemeral pieces have become one with Nature.

Sculpture Garden

Our Sculpture Garden curated by David Horowitz, currently

has 5 permanent works. These works were created by David,

Jeff Mase and George Contrino.

We are excited to announce our next installation is in collaboration with the Tewksbury Land Trust, off-site on their 10-mile Trail.

The unveiling will take place October 9th , 2023

Wellness Programs & Classes

​

WELLNESS SALON

Returning in September, our Wellness Salon

hosted by Leslie Weinman, Functional Nutritionist & Clinical Herbalist, is a free monthly event for our Community.

Learn insights on specific health topics from our

nutritionist, and listen to guest speakers while they educate

us on their field of practice.

​

Our daily Wellness Classes include Pilates,

Yoga, Tai Chi & QiGong, as well as Pop-Up classes; such as

Sound Bowls, Forest Bathing, Vedic Meditation, Japanese Tea

Tasting and others.

​

REGISTRATION REQUIRED​

for all Classes.

Food Makes Friends​

Our FMF Team is always making and creating in the kitchen. 

Our kitchen is our outdoor fire rig and soon to be built earth  

oven, in the Gardens of Whittemore. Our Pirate Chefs not only support our onsite FMF events; fundraising dinners, artist 

opening receptions, private events and garden concerts but

our offsite  partners as well.
